The Fennes Estate

The Fennes is a stunning Georgian house set in 100 acres of private land.

The ceremony takes place in the pavilion, which has loads of natural light, which is of course brilliant for both photography and video. In bad weather, small groups can be taken in the Gold and Red rooms, and large group shots can be taken in the second pavilion.

FENNES – YOUR EXCLUSIVE WEDDING VENUE, BOCKING, ESSEX Some parts of the house date back to the 15th Century, however, the majority of the beautiful reception rooms are Georgian with high ceilings and a very spacious feel. We are able to accommodate smaller, more intimate weddings within these rooms, whilst larger wedding parties use this area to receive guests before moving through to the wedding pavilion.The Drawing Room, overlooks the landscaped gardens and is a richly decorated room making it the perfect space to enjoy a glass of champagne with your guests and also licensed for smaller ceremonies. The large sash windows allow sunlight to flood the room in the summer and the original fireplace, lit in the winter months, provides a cosy and intimate space for your reception. The Dining Room is perfect for a fine dining experience or a welcoming area for your guests to begin your celebrations. The Library, traditionally the family room of the house, furnished with deep comfy sofas and overlooking the pond, is the perfect setting for laughter and relaxation with your closest friends and family. The Reading Room, a true gentlemen’s room with a large open fireplace and occasional tables, this room makes a lovely reception area or a quiet room for guests to relax.
